Less time drafting. More time selling.

The steps that eat an afternoon in CAD take a few moves here.

01Click a device, see everything about it

Two ceiling speakers on the plan. Selecting one opens Properties: mount, rack, a 16/2 cable with its length estimated from the drawing, then the pair sharing one 16/4 cable

Properties shows how it’s mounted, which rack it runs to, and each cable with its length estimated from the drawing.

  • Work together, live

Your team edits the same plan and sees each other’s changes as they sync.

  • Versions you can restore

Save a version at each stage of the job and go back to any of them.

  • Automatic numbering

SP-1, CAM-4, WAP-2: every device tagged as you place it.

  • Equipment CSV

Counts by system, ready for the proposal software you already use.

  • Cable & conduit schedules

Export cable schedules as PDF or CSV. Include conduit size/type totals and runs in the PDF and shared presentation.

  • Views for each trade

Show one trade’s systems at a time, on screen, in the PDF and in the presentation.

  • Wi-Fi coverage

See the 6, 5 and 2.4 GHz reach of each access point, drawn to scale.

  • Work status

Mark devices To do, Done or Blocked, so the next visit starts with what’s left.

  • TVs and soundbars at real size

Pick a TV size and see it drawn to scale on the plan.

  • Your title block

Company, client, address, scale and revision on every PDF sheet.

  • Full CAD bid sets

Pick the page you need from a PDF of up to 200 pages. A real 74-page bid set works.

  • iPad and Apple Pencil

Place devices with your finger and write notes with the Pencil. Same plan as on your laptop.

Price the job straight from the plan.

Every device is numbered and counted the moment you place it. The equipment list builds itself, so the proposal matches the plan and nobody recounts by hand.

  2. It’s countedSP-1, SP-2, CAM-1: numbered as you place and totalled by system, with zones for the speakers.

Everyone works from the same drawing.

The plan isn’t only for the person who draws it. Everyone on the job saves time when it’s right.

  • Sales

Wins the job with a professional plan. Showing the client the whole picture opens the door to more systems.

  • The office

Orders the right equipment from the counts, not from memory.

  • Techs

Find every device by its tag and location without calling the office to ask where it goes.

  • The client

Sees what they’re paying for, and later, what they got.

  • Builder and electrician

Know where the boxes and pre-wire go before the drywall closes.

Techs understand the plan without calling the office.

Every device is tagged and placed exactly where it goes, and each trade sees only what it needs. Less guessing, fewer phone calls, less redoing work.

A walkthrough layer: a cloud drawn around two speakers and a note with an arrow pointing to them

No more back-and-forth over what was agreed

Cloud it, draw the arrow and write why, right on the plan. Each walkthrough keeps its own layer, so the decision stays with the device.

Wi-Fi coverage of the access points drawn on the plan as the 6, 5 and 2.4 GHz bands are switched on

Each trade sees only its systems

Save a view for each trade, so the electrician sees the boxes and the network tech sees the Wi-Fi. Views print the same way in the PDF.

  3. 03

Everyone sees where each box goes. A missed pre-wire means a drywall patch and a return trip.

  4. 04

Techs mark each device done or blocked, right on the plan.

Built by an integrator who fights the same fires you do.

For years, I looked for an easy way to make professional plans the whole team could use at every stage of a project. I couldn’t find one, so I built it.

Questions

Before you start.

See the workflow for custom integrators

Do I need CAD skills?

No. If you can drag and drop, you can draw the whole system. The symbols, numbers and counts are done for you.

Can I import a PDF floor plan or a DWG drawing?

Import a PDF page, PNG or JPEG. For a DWG drawing, export the sheet to PDF first; native DWG import is not supported. Set the scale by clicking two points you know the distance between, like a doorway or a dimension line.

Does it work on an iPad?

Yes. Place devices with your finger and write notes with Apple Pencil. It’s the same plan on your iPad and your laptop.

Can my team work on the same plan?

Yes. Invite people as Owner, Editor or Viewer. Everyone works on the same live plan and sees each other’s changes.

Who can see my plans?

Only the members of your workspace. A share link is read-only, never listed by search engines, and can be locked with a 4-digit PIN.

Will it handle a big commercial drawing set?

Yes. Pick the page you need from a PDF of up to 200 pages. A real 74-page CAD bid set works.

Does it replace my proposal software?

No, it feeds it. Download the equipment list as a CSV and bring the counts into the tool you already quote with.

What if I stop using it?

Your work stays yours. Download the PDF, the equipment CSV and a recovery file of the drawing at any time.

What kinds of systems can I put on one plan?

The symbol library covers sixteen systems, including speakers, home theater, cameras, access control, lighting, shades and networks. Place them on the same floor plan, then use views to focus on the systems each trade needs.

Can I export an equipment list and cable schedule?

Yes. Download equipment counts by system and a cable schedule as CSV files. Cable lengths can be estimated from the scaled drawing or entered as measured lengths. Check routes, length assumptions and quantities before ordering or installing.

Can I include a conduit schedule with the drawings?

Yes. Projects with conduits offer a Conduit schedule in Share, with size/type totals and rows grouped by sheet. Include it in the PDF or shared presentation. Each visible conduit counts once across included views. Plan lengths exclude rises, drops and slack; missing or disagreeing scales show Unknown. Check the routes and bends on site.

Can I share a plan with a client who doesn’t use the app?

Yes. A read-only presentation link opens in a browser and includes the cover, legend and plan sheets. You can add a PIN. A printed sheet’s QR code opens the latest published version of the shared plan.

Can I give different trades different views?

Yes. Save views that show the systems each trade needs, such as boxes for the electrician or access points for the network installer. Those views also work in the PDF and shared presentation.

Can I use it for as-built drawings and closeout?

Use the floor plan to record the installed device locations and field changes, then save an as-built version and export the PDF and schedules. Check the drawing against the finished work and your client’s closeout requirements. Publish updates to make them available through the shared link and printed QR code.

Does it create rack elevations or signal-flow diagrams?

No. Integrator Design Studio focuses on device layouts and cable routes on floor plans. Use your schematic or CAD tool for rack elevations, signal-flow diagrams and other details required by the job.

Can I work offline or attach site photos to devices?

Not currently. Editing needs an internet connection, and device photo attachments are not supported. You can add numbered field notes and markups to the plan, and download a PDF for reference when you are offline.

What does it cost?

It’s free during the beta: every workspace has Team free through January 31, 2027, no card needed. After that there will be a Free plan and paid plans, Solo and Team; you’ll get an email at least 30 days before prices start.
