One plan. Focus on what matters.
Make a busy project easier to navigate with custom Views of the same plan, showing the systems and detail you need.
Where it helps
As a project grows, equipment, cabling and notes can make the plan hard to navigate. Views let you organize that same plan around what you need to see or work on. Show camera coverage, focus on Wi-Fi, or bring in cable cards and connection lines to review wiring detail. These are choices you make, not fixed View types. Every View shows the same floors and equipment with your chosen level of detail. You still edit one plan: move a device in any View and its position changes everywhere.
What changed
- Create custom Views for a system, a task or the amount of detail you need. Give each a useful name so you can return to that focused drawing.
- Show any combination of systems, work status, cable cards, annotations and coverage. The equipment belongs to one shared plan; each View chooses what you see.
- Arrange named Views to keep the project easy to navigate. Default View stays first and editable, and every View edits the same drawing.
- Use those same Views when you present or print. Sheet inclusion is shared with Share, and an existing published link changes only when you choose Update.
Use it on your next plan
- Decide what you want to focus on. Open Views on the left, choose New view and give it a useful name. All current sheets are included to start, with systems and details hidden. Choose what this View should show.
- Choose the systems you need, then add useful detail: Camera field of view for coverage, Wi-Fi coverage beside Network, or Cable cards and connection lines for wiring. Work status and annotations can further focus the drawing.
- Select a View to open its sheet list. Use the eyes to include or hide sheets, and drag a named View’s grip to arrange its row. A hidden sheet stays dimmed within a visible View; hiding all its sheets removes the row. These choices also affect presentation and PDF pages.
- Open Share, review Pages and use Sort → By View or By Sheet. Choose PDF to download without publishing a link. An existing shared link keeps its published pages until you choose Update.
Continue the workflow

A busy plan can make it hard to find what matters. Views show the same floor and equipment, with only the details you choose. Move this camera in its focused View. Its position changes in Default too. Every View uses the same plan.
Focus on Wi-Fi when you need to review coverage. Follow conduit routes and the equipment connected to them. Or bring wiring details into focus with cable cards. These are examples. Create your own View for the task at hand.
Start clear, with content hidden. Choose the systems and details to show. Here, cameras and coverage. Choose which sheets belong in this View. The dashed eye shows that only some sheets are included. Your choices also carry into the presentation and PDF.
In Share, sort the pages by View. Generate a preview to check the pages. Review these pages before you publish. An existing shared link changes only when you choose Update. One plan, organised around what matters. Try it on your next project.
